By Air

The Lake Manyara Airstrip is located just outside the park boundaries and is the closest airstrip to Msasa Picnic Site. From there, you can arrange for transportation to the picnic site.

By Road

If you’re driving, you can use a private, rental, or tour vehicle to get to Msasa Picnic Site. Most visitors opt to drive in from nearby towns such as Mto wa Mbu or even cities such as Arusha. There is no preference as to the vehicle type, whether 4×4’s or otherwise.
