The Msasa Ranger Post is located southeast of the Rift Valley walls, beyond which lies Ngorongoro Crater. It sits inside Lake Manyara National Park, about a 5-minute drive from its northeastern border. How to Get to Msasa Ranger Post
There are two primary ways to get to the Msasa Ranger Post: by air or by road. If you’re arriving by air, you can use the nearby Lake Manyara Airstrip, though you’ll need to arrange for vehicle transportation from there into the park. Alternatively, you can use a private or rental vehicle to get here, with no preference as to the vehicle type, whether 4x4s or otherwise. It takes about a maximum of three to four hours to drive from nearby towns such as Mto wa Mbu and even cities such as Arusha.
