Kananga Special Tented Camp

Kananga Special Tented Camp is located in Seronera, right in the middle of the Serengeti National Park.
Bedside tables and baggage racks are included in the carpeted tents. The bed is draped in fine linens and a traditional Masai blanket. There is an open-air shower and toilet on the ground floor. Each tent is outfitted with solar-powered LED reading lights.

Breakfast, lunch, and supper are all included in all packages, as well as mineral water and tea and coffee-making facilities.

The Kananga Special Tented Camp also has a deck. The on-site restaurant is available to guests. On request, special diet meals and packed lunches are provided. When requested in advance, guests can lease a 4×4 car with a private driver.

Conveniently situated at the foot of the Banagi hills, Kananga Special Tented Camp is easily accessible by road or air. From the Seronera airstrip, head towards Lobo and cross the bridge. At the fork in the road (Ndabaka and Lobo), take the Lobo road and continue straight for 5.8 kilometers, approximately a 10-15 minute drive. When you spot a road with stones on your left, turn left and continue for another 2.3 kilometers until you reach our camp.

By Air: To reach Kananga Special Tented Camp by air, you can fly into the Seronera airstrip, which is conveniently located near the camp. From there, it’s a short journey to the campsite. Simply head in the direction of Lobo after crossing the bridge. At the fork in the road (Ndabaka and Lobo), take the Lobo road and continue straight for approximately 5.8 kilometers (around 10-15 minutes). Look out for a road with stones on your left, then turn left and continue for another 2.3 kilometers until you reach the camp.
