Situated in sparsely populated farmland (sesame seeds, cotton and maize are grown in the surrounding area) on forty acres of untouched community land, Sangaiwe Tented Lodge offers a peaceful setting wherein to relax after your busy safari days. Sit on the deck of your tent and enjoy the uninterrupted views over Lake Burungi to the Great Rift Valley escarpment beyond.
Accommodation is in beautifully constructed tented rooms set on wooden platforms with a solid attached bath, toilet and dressing area. Presently there are eight tents with more under construction. Each elevated tent has twin or double beds, a writing desk, ample places for luggage and indoor and outdoor seating. Decks all have stunning views to Lake Burungi and the Rift Valley.
